UNmasked 2008

Event Overview

—Unmasked is a two day conference held at Riverstone Church, located on the
corner of Barrett Parkway and Stilesboro Road.  Once they are registered
online, the girls will be divided randomly into huddles of about 6-8.  They
will have a college aged girl serving as their huddle leader for the
weekend.  Each huddle will be assigned an approved host home that they will
stay at on Friday night.  The host homes are carefully chosen by the
Unmasked Director and include families that are involved in local churches,
FCA, and other interconnected relationships.

—The girls will we report to the church on Friday night to check-in, put
their luggage in the designated area, and then go to the evening assembly.
Once it is finished, the huddle leader and/or host home participants will
transport the girls to their host home for the night where the girls will
partake in snacks and huddle time.  They will report back to the church
on
Saturday morning
for a full day of activities.

Saturday afternoon, the girls will be transported back to their host homes
for more huddle time and to get ready for the formal dinner.  Semi-formal
to formal attire is suggested, but there is not a requirement.  The dinner
is designed for the girls to celebrate the beauty and worth they have in
Christ.  College/Post College Aged guys are brought in to escort them and
serve them dinner.  This allows the girls to get a glimpse of what a Godly
man looks like and how they deserve to be treated as a woman.  Parents may
join in at 8:35pm for the open mic and testimonial time.  Girls can be
picked up around 9:15pm.
